Interview Stories
NetJets formats their interviews into two separate events, one over zoom/teams and one in person interview.
Application process - NetJets application uses their own site for applications. On their site you’ll add your times, education, and work experience. Once you submit your application they’ll send you a response and give you a form to fill out to schedule the zoom interview.
Zoom/Teams interview - The call lasted about 15 minutes and was with a member of their hiring team. Didn’t focus on technical questions and focused on “tell me about a time” questions to see how you get along with co workers and work through conflicts. At the end of the interview they gave me the offer to go to Columbus for the in-person interview and gave me a date.
In-person Expo - the Expo includes you going to Columbus to their Bridgeway locations. They have the event starting off with you meeting the different departments that you’ll be working with as a pilot as well as having a few line pilots talk to you about a day in the life. After the expo you’ll do a logbook review and a in person interview. The in person interview can be with a variety of people all either current or former pilots for NetJets. In this interview again it will focus more on “tell me about a time” questions and they want to see how you can work as a crew. Finally you’ll do your simulator evaluation. The biggest thing they were looking for was compliance with their callouts. Prior to the interview they’ll send you a packet that lists all the callouts. It’s not as much of an evaluation of flying ability as it is working in a crew environment and using their callouts.
After you leave they’ll let you know how long the wait will be to hear back. It took about 3 weeks to get back to me.
