Spirit Airlines

Spirit Airlines, founded in 1980 and operating as an ultra-low-cost carrier, has grown to a fleet of 187 aircraft as of 2024. The airline operates more than 600 daily flights, serving over 75 destinations across the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean. The airline has seen significant growth over the years, becoming one of the largest budget carriers in North America. Spirit Airlines filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy on November 18th, 2024.
