Endeavor Air

Endeavor Air is a regional airline based in the United States, operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines. The airline operates a fleet of approximately 150 aircraft, primarily consisting of Bombardier CRJ900 and CRJ700 regional jets. Endeavor Air serves over 150 daily routes, connecting regional markets to major hubs, primarily under the Delta Connection brand. The airline employs around 2,000 pilots and operates bases in several cities, including Minneapolis, Detroit, and Atlanta. Founded in 1985 as a regional carrier under the name Express Airlines I, it became known as Endeavor Air in 2002 after a merger with another regional carrier.   • Sign-on bonus: $20,000-$40,000 depending on experience

  • Longevity pay scale: Based on completed years at a Part 121 carrier

  • Bonus & retention program: Potential for up to $110,000 in bonuses plus early Captain pay starting at 850 hours

  • Captain upgrades: Available as soon as required regulatory hours are met

  • Commuter Policy

    • Endeavor pilots benefit from the same commuter policy as Delta Air Lines pilots.

  • ATP-CTP Sponsored Training

    • Endeavor offers company-sponsored training through its ATP training partner, helping well-qualified pilot candidates complete their ATP-CTP certification process.

First Officer Qualifications:

  • Total Time: 1,500 Hours (or Restricted ATP Minimums)

  • Airplane Multi-Engine Land: 25 Hours

  • Night: 100 Hours

  • Instrument: 100 Hours

  • Cross-Country: 500 OR 200 with R-ATP

  • PIC: 250*

  • PIC Cross-Country: 100*

  • PIC Night: 25*

  • Current FAA First Class Medical

  • Federal Communication Commission (FCC) Radio License

  • Must have an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) OR ability to obtain an ATP or Restricted ATP

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • 4 Year College Degree in Aviation is preferred

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language

  • Must be able to work any shift, including: days, nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Valid Passport and authorized to travel to any country served by Endeavor Air

  • Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive Company, FAA and DOT required pre-employment screening, criminal background check, drug test, motor vehicle driving record (MVR), and PRIA records check.

*May be a combination of SIC and PIC time if the SIC time has been aquired in operations that required a SIC under FAR.


Direct Entry Captain Requirements:

  • Total Time: 2,000 Hours

  • Have at least 975 hours of air carrier experienced as defined by FAR 121.436

  • Proven leadership skills

  • Exceptional customer service skills and abilities

  • Federal Communication Commission (FCC) Radio License

  • Must have an FAA multi-engine Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate

  • Current FAA First Class Medical

  • Must be at least 23 years of age

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

  • Possess and maintain a valid passport and equivalent travel documents to freely enter and exit all destinations where Endeavor Air flies.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language

  • Possess excellent interpersonal and cognitive skills

  • Must be able to work any shift, including: days, nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to successfully pass a comprehensive Company, FAA and DOT required pre-employment screening, criminal background check, drug test, motor vehicle driving record (MVR), and PRIA records check.
